Small vs Large: which strap size should I choose?

Small: 89 to 144 cm (35.03 to 56.69 in). Large: 91 to 146 cm (35.82 to 57.48 in). Choose Small for compact crossbody setups and lighter bags. Choose Large when you want maximum length flexibility or you’re pairing with larger carry like duffels and messenger bags.

What is the length range? Is it long enough for tall people?

Yes. This is a fully adjustable strap designed to work for almost any body type. It extends significantly (typically up to ~55-60 inches / 140-150 cm) to accommodate tall users or those wearing heavy winter coats, and shortens enough for comfortable shoulder carry.

What is the strap width?

5 cm (1.96 in) for both sizes. A wider strap spreads load better and feels noticeably more comfortable under weight versus narrow straps.

Will it work with my bag, or only Yukon Bags?

It’s built with antique brass swivel hooks designed to attach to most bags and cases that have D-rings. If your hardware is unusually small or recessed, measure the D-ring opening before ordering.

Is it more comfortable than a standard leather strap?

Generally, yes. While leather is classic, our heavy-duty cotton webbing is wider and softer significantly reducing the "digging" sensation on your shoulder. It is breathable and flexible, making it an excellent upgrade for carrying heavy loads like messengers or weekenders.

Is it comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes. The cotton webbing is soft on the shoulder, and the 5 cm width is engineered for comfort under real daily loads. If you carry heavy weight for long periods, wide straps consistently outperform thin straps for pressure management.

Is it strong enough for a heavy laptop bag?

Absolutely. We use high-density cotton webbing reinforced with full-grain Crazy Horse leather ends and industrial stitching. It is engineered to hold heavy loads cameras, laptops, gym gear without fraying or snapping

Does the adjuster slip or loosen over time?

In normal use it should hold. If you ever experience slippage (common topic across carry communities), the practical fixes are: keep the tail neatly managed, roll the excess and secure it with a strap keeper or Velcro, and ensure the webbing is threaded correctly through the adjuster.

How do I attach it?

Clip the swivel hooks onto your bag’s D-rings, then adjust length via the slider to set shoulder or crossbody carry.

Can I wear it crossbody and shoulder?

Yes. The length range supports both, depending on your height and where you want the bag to sit. For crossbody, start near max length and dial in from there.

Real. It is made from full-grain cowhide Crazy Horse leather.

What leather is it made from?

Full-grain cowhide Crazy Horse leather. It’s a waxed pull-up leather that darkens and gains patina with use, so every bag becomes visually unique.

Is it waterproof?

No. It’s built for real life and handles light moisture well when wiped promptly, but it is not waterproof. If it gets wet, wipe it dry and let it air-dry naturally, away from heat.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Weekly: wipe dust with a soft dry cloth. As needed: buff scuffs dry. Periodically: apply a thin layer of leather balm or wax (test a small area first). Avoid detergents and heat drying.

Do you source leather responsibly?

Yes. We exclusively purchase hides from L.W.G. Gold Certified tanneries.

Can I add monogramming?

Yes. Monogramming is available as an add-on. Limit is 12 characters, and you can choose from multiple fonts.

Are monogrammed items returnable?

No. Personalized or monogrammed items are not eligible for returns or exchanges, so confirm spelling and font before checkout.

What is your return window for non-personalized items?

30 days from purchase, provided the item is unused and in original packaging.
