How do I clean and care for a leather watch strap?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing it. When the leather feels dry (about every 3–6 months), apply a pea-sized amount of neutral leather balm, rub it in thinly, and buff after 5 minutes. For crazy-horse (pull-up) leather, condition sparingly to preserve its matte finish and patina. Avoid soaking, sweat, chlorine, perfume/alcohol sprays, and prolonged direct sun.
Can you personalize the watch strap?
Yes. We offer laser engraving for initials or short names (up to 12 characters). Typical lead time is 1–2 business days before shipping.
Do leather watch straps last longer?
High-quality full-grain leather ages gracefully and can outlast many fabric or silicone bands with basic care. It develops a rich patina, molds to your wrist, and the 316L hardware resists corrosion. Avoid water immersion to maximize life.
Will this band fit my Apple Watch or Apple Watch Ultra?
38/40/41 mm Apple Watch (Series 1–10, SE) and 42/44/45/49 mm Apple Watch (Series 1–10, SE) including Apple Watch Ultra/Ultra 2/Ultra 3 (49 mm). Apple uses two adapter families; 49/45/44/42 mm bands are cross-compatible, and 41/40/38 mm bands are cross-compatible.
What wrist sizes does the strap fit?
Most sizes fit approximately 6.0–8.0 in (150–205 mm) wrists with multiple adjustment holes.
Is the leather water-resistant? Can I work out or swim with it?
Leather is naturally splash-resistant but not waterproof. It’s fine for everyday wear and light perspiration; wipe dry after use. Do not swim, shower, or sauna with any leather band.
How does crazy-horse leather age?
It’s a pull-up leather that shows tonal shifts with use. Light marks from daily wear can be burnished with a fingertip or soft cloth, gradually forming a unique patina.
Will the color transfer to clothing?
All leathers can transfer dye if heavily saturated. Avoid wearing the strap against light fabrics when wet; let it dry naturally away from heat.
How do I install or remove the strap?
Slide the adapter into the Apple Watch channel until it clicks. To swap the strap from the buckle side, use the quick-release pin on the spring bar—no tools needed.
What’s the warranty and return policy?
Your strap is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Unused, non-engraved straps may be returned within the standard return window; personalized items are final sale.

Caring for Your Crazy Horse Leather Bag - Crazy Horse Leather Care Guide

Each bag must undergo a special process to earn the status of the Crazy Horse label. Bumps, bangs, and scratches intensify the bag’s vintage look and beauty. The quality craftsmanship allows the bag to carry a heavy load while still retaining shape. With proper care, your Yukon bag will hold up to decades of service.
IF YOUR YUKON CRAZY HORSE LEATHER BAG GETS WET:
- Simply wipe dry with a soft leather cloth.
- Do not store your bag while wet.
- Wipe off any moisture before storing to prevent mold or mildew.
- After drying bag: Hang to dry or turn bag inside-out.
- Do not use a hairdryer or any type of heat to dry your bag. Applying heat can cause the leather to crack or harden.
FOR SPILLS:
- Wipe spills off with a slightly dampened cloth.
- Do NOT use detergents or cleansers on your Crazy Horse leather bag – this will discolor the leather and can destroy the beauty of the bag.
- If necessary: Use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub away any stains.

TO ELIMINATE UNWANTED SCRATCHES:
- Using a soft dry cloth – rub scratch in a circular motion to redistribute wax coating.
- For a deep scratch - leather wax can be applied to bring the leather back to its previous condition.
- Leather cream or wax should be applied periodically to preserve softness and luster.

TO AVOID STRETCHING THE LEATHER:
- Limit the number of items stored in the bag over long periods.
- Limit storing heavy items for long periods.
- Avoid over-stuffing pockets.
TO KEEP YOUR CRAZY HORSE LEATHER SOFT AND SUPPLE:
- TEST a small patch before coating entire bag. Some products can change the color of the leather.
- Apply a THIN, even layer of leather balm or leather wax to your bag with a soft, clean sponge.
- Wipe off any excess balm (or wax) with a soft, dry, leather cloth.
We strongly recommend periodically treating your Yukon Bag to a coating of leather balm or wax to prevent the leather from becoming dry or cracked.
Caution: Overuse of products designed to keep leather soft can result in too much softening and may result in the bag losing its shape.
STORING YOUR CRAZY HOUSE LEATHER BAG:
- Protect your Yukon bag by storing it in a clean, dry space.
- Wipe away any moisture before storing your bag.
- Be sure the bag is completely DRY before storing it.
- For optimal results in maintaining the bag’s shape – empty bag before storing.
- For long periods of storage, we recommend keeping the bag in a soft cotton pillowcase. This will prevent discoloration from dust or infestation by insects (always check for them after a hike!).
- If you plan for your bag to stay in storage for an extended length of time, inspect it every 3-4 weeks. If you store the bag without emptying it first, check every 1-2 weeks to avoid stretching or mold.
