Full-Grain Leather Wallets

Every Yukon wallet is cut from full-grain cowhide with a waxed crazy horse finish and handcrafted in Türkiye. The leather softens and deepens in color as you carry it, and most styles are lined to block RFID scans. For a front pocket, choose the slim Jarvis, Ross or Hart. For bills and cards, the Volcano bifold or the Liard trifold. For a handbag or travel, the Peel or the Salmon Large.

How to choose

Three questions to find your wallet

  1. How many cards do you carry?

Three or four: a slim card holder such as the Jarvis or Ross. Five to seven, with bills: the Volcano, Liard or Haines. Eight or more, with coins and a phone: the Peel.

  2. Where will it live?

A front pocket suits the Jarvis, Ross, Hart or Liard. A back pocket, the Volcano. A handbag or travel bag, the Peel, Salmon Large or Martha. To clip it to your keys, the Pine.

  3. Which details matter to you?

An RFID-blocking lining for contactless cards, found in most styles. A pocket for an AirTag (Ross). A zip pocket for coins, as on the Volcano or Peel. An ID window, as on the Liard or Haines. Or initials engraved, for a gift.

Quick answers

Questions about our leather wallets

Are Yukon wallets made of real full-grain leather?

Yes. Every wallet is cut from full-grain cowhide with a crazy horse finish, a waxed surface that develops a patina as you carry it. We work only in full-grain leather, sourced from LWG Gold-certified tanneries. Read how the leather grades compare.

Do I need an RFID-blocking wallet?

If you carry contactless cards, an RFID-blocking lining keeps them from being read by a scanner while they're in your wallet. It needs no setup, and you take a card out to pay as usual. The Peel, Jarvis, Liard, Volcano, Salmon, Haines, Shea and Pine are lined; the Ross, Hart, Martha, Vanier and Alatna are not.

Which leather wallet fits a front pocket?

A slim card holder. The Jarvis is 0.15" thin, with three card slots and room for half-folded bills. The Ross adds a pocket for an AirTag, and the Hart has a center pouch for more cards and a little cash. If you need more slots, the Liard trifold still fits a front pocket. Should I choose a bifold or a trifold?

A bifold folds once, so cards are easy to reach and bills lie flat; the Volcano adds a zip pocket for coins. A trifold folds twice into a smaller shape, with more slots and windows for ID, as in the Liard. Choose a bifold for quick access, a trifold for more order. Read bifold vs. trifold wallets.

How many cards fit in a slim wallet?

It depends on the style. The Jarvis carries three cards in its slots, and the Ross three to four, each with folded bills in the center. The Hart holds eight to ten cards with its pouch. New full-grain leather starts snug and eases a little with use, so avoid filling a wallet past what it was made for.

Do you make a wallet with an AirTag pocket?

Yes. The Ross is a slim card holder with a built-in pocket for an Apple AirTag, so you can find your wallet with Find My. The AirTag is sold separately, and the Ross does not have an RFID-blocking lining.

Which wallets suit a handbag?

All our wallets are unisex. For a handbag, the Salmon envelope wallets close with a snap, the Peel holds eleven cards and most phones, and the Martha zips all the way around and comes with a detachable wrist strap.

Can I personalize a wallet as a gift?

Yes. Most wallets can be laser engraved with initials or a name of up to 12 characters, in a choice of five fonts. For groomsmen, a team or a company logo, visit our corporate gifts page or write to sales@yukonbags.com.

How do I care for a leather wallet?

Dust it with a soft, dry cloth, and use a barely damp cloth for marks, letting it dry naturally. Condition it two or three times a year, testing on a hidden spot first. Keep it away from alcohol, baby wipes, harsh cleaners and direct heat. Light scratches on crazy horse leather usually fade when you rub them with a clean fingertip. Our leather care guide has more.

What if my wallet gets wet?

Crazy horse leather is water-resistant, not waterproof. Blot it with a dry cloth, empty it, ease it back into shape and let it dry at room temperature. Keep it away from hairdryers and radiators, as quick heat can stiffen the leather.

How long does a full-grain leather wallet last?

With regular care, many years. A wallet kept within its capacity and conditioned now and then holds its shape longest. Full-grain leather has no surface coating to peel; it softens and darkens into a patina instead.

Where are Yukon Bags wallets made?

Each wallet is handcrafted in Türkiye from full-grain cowhide, sourced from LWG Gold-certified tanneries. Natural grain and color variations make every piece slightly different.

Do your wallets come with a warranty?

Yes. Wallets bought from our website are covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, including stitching, hardware and zippers. Normal wear and the natural character of the leather are not covered. Read our warranty policy, or write to sales@yukonbags.com.
