The newer, larger Harper backpack has all the convenience and style of the original in a more spacious bag. The Harper is handcrafted of full-grain crazy horse leather. Crazy Horse leather is the highest quality leather. Crazy horse leather has been prized for centuries, thanks to its rock-solid durability and unique color striations. The Harper’s urbane Unisex design and luxuriously thick leather make this the ideal bag for work, school, or recreation.
The interior lining is detachable. Keeping the inside of your bag clean and dry has never been so easy – simply flip up the inner liner to clean before tucking it back inside the backpack. A cloth drawstring bag is included for storing your Harper backpack. The fold-over top snaps shut for security and convenience. Ample pockets on the inside and out provide abundant organization. The padded laptop pocket can hold laptops up to MacBook Pro 16”. We have added a few extra features to the new Harper: a built-in keychain holder, an extra interior zipper pocket, and soft, cushiony Caribou shoulder pads for extra comfort.

I have had this bag for about three years now and I have used it extensively to carry my things for work and school. I am relatively large male (6'0" 220), but the straps continuously slide off of my shoulders. I have changed the length of the straps, but I can't seem to find a spot where I do not have to continuously pull the straps back on my shoulders. Also, the pads on the straps for your shoulders need to be adjusted every time you put it on. The bag definitely looks nice though and has held up very well, which is the reason I keep using it despite it being so frustrating. I plan to get another bag now and give this away to someone who wants to give it a shot. My suggestion is to try it out with a few things in it and carry something like a basket of laundry and make sure it doesn't annoy you.
Received this backpack for Christmas and couldn’t be more excited to use it. The handles/straps on the back of the bag are strong and very sturdy. The bag came very well packaged in its own dust bag. To top it off, the leather smells great!

This is absolutely a work of art. This backpack is gorgeous, very well made and worth every cent. I was on the fence about it due to the price but ultimately decided I deserved something nice for this new chapter in my life and I have no regrets. I'm already eyeing my next purchase! This is a legit review and not a double review, because I actually purchased a second Large Harper backpack for my husband as an anniversary gift. He is in love with it, and it has the exact same impressive quality as mine! My own backpack has held up VERY well through strenuous daily use. There was one point where the stitching started coming undone on one side of the handle strap, and at first I was super panicked because I love the bag so much. This allowed me to really test Yukon's warranty and customer service, and let me tell you that they did not disappoint. I sent in my request to have the issue fixed under the warranty, and within 24 hours they got back to me. They apologized, included a shipping label at no cost to me, and my bag was sent for repairs in California. Once repaired, they shipped it right back, and the repair looks excellent. I could not be happier with this company. I know a company's customer service tends to deteriorate the larger the company becomes, which does make sense to a degree. But boy, if Yukon can keep this up this level of product quality and customer service even as they grow, they are going to become legendary! And I will most definitely remain a loyal customer.
